Strong sales maintain for 20th Century British sculptor Dame Elisabeth Frink, CH RA (1930-93).
The Jackdaw (editor David Lee) reports in the March/April 2009 issue:
"What used to be called 'Modern British' art is bearing up considering market conditions. This has to do with the fact that its qualities are visible rather than theoretical. In recent sales Lowry and Frinks sold securely whilst others at least trod water."
